December 2012 - January 2013 events!

Ongoing holidays event:
RIJ  launches its annual Tree of Hope campaign to light up the life of a refugee child from November 27th through to January 6th. The fundraiser kicks off with a festive ceremony to light the Christmas tree in the Karajan Plaza at ARK Hills on 27th at 11;00am.Come and see the lighting of the Christmas tree and hear choirs sing.   Over the following  weeks there will be a variety of events including school choirs, hand bells, taiko drumming, ballet dancing and at weekends a market place where a variety of goods, including hand made jewelry and home made cakes and cookies. 
Rumour has it that Santa Claus will also make the occasional appearance too.  Some come and join us!  For more information contact enquiries@refugeesinternationaljapan.org

FEW’s Dazzling Bonenkai!

  
The FEW Bonenkai is open to friends, partners and supporters. Bring your darling and some friends (men and women) to share in the holiday cheer as we bid farewell to 2012 and welcome the new possibilities 2013 will have to offer.
Venue: Balcony Restaurant, in Izumi Garden building, just 1 min from Roppongi 1chome station
 
Cost: 5000 yen for FEW members 7000 yen for guests includes buffet dinner and drinks.

You can still just show up at the door! 12 spaces left!
 
We’ll also have a raffle with some dazzling prizes! All proceeds for the raffle with go to the FEW Community Services Strategic Partners: Shine On Kids, Peace Boat and Tokyo English Life Line (TELL)
